What’s needed to book?

A $250 or (if peak times $500) deposit is required to secure the booking.  All tentative bookings are held for 3 business days only.  If deposit isn’t made in this time, the booking is then open to the next enquiry.  We DO NOT follow you up if you have not done this.

Final balance needs to be paid 3 weeks prior to your stay and cleared to our account.  Once final payment has been made a code will be given to you to access keys though a locked key safe.  We do require a photo ID as part of the booking.

If I have to cancel, will I be refunded?

We have a policy where there is a non-refundable deposit of $250 or $500 (peak times).   So please be aware when booking dates.  We are flexible if you should need to change dates (subject to availability) however each case is individual and needs to be discussed with management.  Change of date incurs an admin fee of $50, plus depending on times you re book it may jump into another price bracket.

If I book a week at peak time, can I rebook same time next year?

YES!  We have many people wanting to rebook for peak season and favourite times throughout the year.  We always offer the dates to people who would like to rebook that have just stayed with us.  Rebooking needs to be done prior to the day of departure to secure. Please let management know if you would like to rebook same dates for the following year prior to departure.

Please note:  we have a waiting list now for Dec/Jan and Feb season, plus Easter many event dates and long weekends.  If you would like to have dates same time the following year, a deposit securing the dates needs to be done on the day of departure/within 3 business days after departure.

If I book for a week for 2 people, can my friends (another couple) come stay for a night?  Will we be charged more?

No!  You are booking for the entire beach house, not per head.  So they are most welcome.

Can we book all 3 beach houses?

YES!  We have many families with siblings/grandparents etc booking all 3 houses for reunions and family holidays.  We give a discount if booking all 3 at the same time.  Min 2 night stay for any booking.  Please note however if you cancel one house, the full amt is payable and discount is void

Do I need to bring own linen?

We supply pillows, doonas and blankets.

You will need to supply your own sheets and towels unless otherwise arranged at your time of booking. (fees apply)

Best to bring tea towel as well.  We do supply them, but sometimes they tend to “walk” and depending on timing/arrival we may/may not have had time to replace.

Is there off street car park?

YES!  We have undercover parking for one car plus room for a smaller car that isn’t undercover.  Beach House 1 and 2 have a secure roller door undercover area where beach house # 3 has an open carport.

Is it pet and child friendly?

YES!  we believe that the whole family should enjoy their holidays… so have made it so you can bring kids and your beloved pooch!

The Front Beach across the road is dog friendly and family friendly.  (check peak season for times dogs are allowed. There is a sign across the road at the beach)

There is a section on “pool fencing”in a couple of the houses, so please make sure you check the outside.  Please bring bedding and blankets for your dog.

Please note however that we cannot guarantee that some dogs will escape especially smaller dogs.

NOTE:  you will be charged an excess cleaning fee if you do not clean up after your dog before departure.

Gift Vouchers

We have gift vouchers for you to send through.  We can send a hard copy gift voucher or an Egift voucher.  Price at whatever you like which would go towards the stay.  Please contact us to arrange.

Is there eateries close by? Should we book ahead?

Yes we are located so close to restaurants, cafes and supermarkets you wont need a car!  Within a few steps away is Front Beach Café and Growlers.  The next street across in Bell St is Surfrider, the Torquay hotel, The Imperial Rhino, plus a bakery and take aways.

Gilbert St is 2 streets the opposite way with supermarkets, many cafes, shops, takeaways and restaurants.

Good idea to book in advance for peak season and long weekends… or just “wing it”

Do you take credit cards?

At this stage we accept payment via EFT, direct deposit at a Bendigo bank branch, money orders, and cheques.  We do not accept cash and personal cheques MUST be cleared before access is granted. Please use your name and/or invoice number as a reference if EFT, internet banking or branch deposits.

Do you have any specials/offers throughout the year?

YES!  We often post last minute cancellations on Facebook for a huge discount, plus we have lots of specials and promotional offers throughout the year via our newsletter.

Repeat customers and our “VIP Sea Warriors”  get an added bonus.  Please ask about the Sea Warriors club for returning guests.
